The genesis of the kitchen doc…
My name is Amira Rajput and how The Kitchen Doc came into fruition is a long story. A little personal information about myself, letting youI know “I know what I know” is not just based on much formal education and lots of trauma certifications from top-trauma experts, but through long personal struggles, battles, injustice and a long trauma history, I turned to God to help me when mainstream medicine and pop psychology failed.
I had Complex PTSD, TBI and suffered from a very wicked eating disorder for 20 years from domestic violence. I endured being hit by a Milwaukee city bus from a driver who ran a red light. smashing into the passenger side where I was sitting. I only remember Jaw of Life cutting the car in 1/2 to get me out and then I went unconscious. 10 years later my mom told me that night the surgeon told her “to prepare herself” because “she’s most likely not going to make it.” I survived with Traumatic Brain injury, three pneumothorax surgeries, and having re-learn how to eat-walk-bathe and talk because I also endured Broca’s Aphasia from the TBI.
I triumphed against all odds for God had a plan for my life. That plan is to help you, to help humanity in a global way.
Having to navigate our broken, fragmented healthcare system by myself which was a feat in itself. I’m thankful to all the holistic healthcare providers who utilized alternative medicine treatments (i.e. acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, Neurofeedback, Naturopathic Medicine, Sozo inner healing and deliverance, theophostic ministry) to help me survive and recover. My journey also required seeing an amazing Christian trauma therapist which was a huge game changer. I wouldn’t be alive had not God been on my side.
I’m on a hot pursuit to help individuals and corporations recover, triumph and live victoriously.
I specialize in treating both individuals (expertise: Leaders, Lawyers, Arts/Entertainment Industry Professionals, Healthcare Providers, Psychotherapists) and healthcare systems.
